Now This is the Head

My mom told me she thought the last ultrasound photo was so cute. I was a little perplexed when she said that, considering the photo was of our boy's leg and "member". Like Brian, she thought she was looking at a head and baby's body, but I eagerly corrected this misunderstanding and we had a good laugh over it. So this week I went for another ultrasound and promised I would post one of the baby's profile for her to see.

Devon & Tim

A few weekends ago, my good friend Devon and her boyfriend Tim came over for dinner and a little Wii fun. Devon is so happy and Tim is great. Best to both of them.

It's a Boy!

Brian and I went for our anatomy ultrasound on Wednesday and after seeing every part of our baby's body (which was all in line with how it should be), we found out we were having a boy. We would have been happy either way, but I think we were extra special happy that he was a boy. We were pretty set with a girl's name of Kira, and we never really landed on our boy's name. So check the side for a poll of names we have found or friends have given us. Definately vote and make sure you pass on to others to vote as well.
After the technician left the room, Brian leaned over to me and said, "She could have said we were looking at the head, and I would have believed her."

Christina's Baby Shower

Christina's baby shower was last week. She is due March 8th and is having a boy who will be named Patrick. Some of our Kappa girls were there to celebrate (from left to right) including Jessie (JCF), me, Christina, and Paula. Can't wait for the big day.

Catch

Val has been so much fun - if you could see our downstairs, it is cluttered with toys. It ranges from 3-4 tennis balls, her treat balls, Christmas squeaky toys and her favorite little stuffed toys. They are everywhere and she picks them up and leaves them at your feet or a few feet away and just waits for you to throw it.

Bringing in the New Year with Ted

It was our third year of heading down to Helium comedy club to laugh our way into the new year. We celebrated with Jean, Tom (the regulars), Quigs, Rory, and an old friend Natalie. Ted Alexandro was the headliner and if baby-to-be Kenney was the critic, he/she would say that Ted must cause earthquakes. I couldn't stop laughing and I'm sure it felt like an earthquake in there. As always, it was so much fun ending an awesome year with tons of laughs and starting one with a huge smile on your face. Very therapeutic. So if you ever see Ted on TV or headlining in a town near you, check him out. Very funny.
