Glenside Pig Roast
We love living in Glenside. The people, the neighborhood, local bars, and stores (where everyone acknowledges they know you) make living here very special. Every year we have missed the annual Glenside Pig Roast, but not this year. And we never want to miss it again as it is a spectacular event a block away from our house. Everything from pig, burgers, dogs, sides, desserts, beer, music, arcade, firetruck, and meeting new/old people around the neighborhood. We could barely peel Colton away from the firetruck. He got to go in the truck, squirt the fire house, and wear some of the gear. He loved it and so did we. A great day and a great event. Check them out and stop by next year www.glensidepigroast.net

Happy 2nd Birthday Fig
Tracey, Michael & Caroline - Tracey made the Elmo cake. |
Fig is Caroline's nickname. She was coined the name when she was the size of a fig in the womb. She is a special little girl and because of that, Elmo made the trip from Sesame Street to visit her on her special day. The kids were either afraid of Elmo or thought nothing of him until he left. They all walked around the house calling for Elmo - it was cute and sad at the same time. Happy birthday Caroline.
Maura's Baptism
Our good friends - Rory & Jim had a beautiful baby girl in March. Maura was baptized last Sunday and we joined in the celebration. We look forward to the future 2nd generation friendship of Colton & Maura.

Playing with Pop Pop
Pop Pop joined us for pizza tonight while Brian was away in Germany. Colton brought the bag of Legos (courtesy of the Turners) over to Pop Pop to play with his farm animals. It was a simple, but special evening.
Happy Birthday Colton - 2 Years Old (Part 3)
We celebrated Colton's 2nd birthday for the third time. Even though he had no clue what all the excitement was about, it was exciting for Brian and me. We had great friends and family celebrate and we thank them all for coming - the Turners, the Earharts, the Parks, the Quigleys, the McAneneys, the Mullens, the Assenmachers, the Kenneys, and Mr. Kenney of course. Fire trucks were the theme, cup cakes were the cake, water slide was the activity, and hoagies/pizza were the grub. It was fun and special.
