Playground & Game Preserver

We went to the playground and the game preserve to keep the entertained and the adults sane.  Colton had so much fun with all his cousins - especially Brendan. Above is all of them in front of the buffaloes. I snapped this picture of Alexa and Alana holding hands.  It was so precious and reminds me so much of me and my cousin Jessa.

Easter 2014

We traveled into Pittsburgh because we heard the Easter bunny would be making an appearance.  Colton was in awe when he saw him for the first time and Cora didn't seem to really care. The highlight was having my 93 year old grandma get a picture with her 10 great grandchildren. There were egg hunts, coloring, a great meal, and birthday celebrations as well. Easter 2014 was one of the best!

DC Trip

We have been meaning to get down to DC to see Jimmy and Dave and I have always wanted to see the cherry blossoms. So we made a weekend of it and it was such a beautiful weekend. Jimmy and Dave had a great place, they made us great food, and we had a great time together. Colton learned about cherry blossoms, the Washington monument, the president, and the White House.  Cora was a joy as she always is.

Fishing with Friends

Our old neighbors invited us to go fishing at an event in Wyndmoor.  Thomas, Michael and Colton were excited to spend time together.  We didn't catch any fish, but it was a nice time spending time out in the sun with friends and family.

Mom & Dad Visit

My parents came in to visit and help out while Brian was traveling for work.  It is so helpful to have them take the dog for a walk, pick up Colton & Cora at school, and make dinner.  We love when they come into town just for a visit, but we are so thankful to have them here to help out as well.

Jude's Baptism

I was honored that Bob and Mary selected me to be Jude's Godmother. The Godfather is Mary's good friend Jack.  Jude was awesome during the ceremony.

Academy Book Reading

Right before I went back to work, it was Dr. Seuss week at the Kiddie Academy.  I went into school and read a few Dr. Seuss books to Colton's class.  Colton sat on my lap the entire time and all of his kids in class came up to me to read one of their books.  It was fun.
