I have very fond memories of my dad taking my brother and I to the aviary in Pittsburgh. The aviary today is nothing like it was back then. It has been updated and upgraded and was so much fun. Colton loves animals and was excited to see so many up close in person compared to just reading about them in his books. We saw toucans, pelicans, owls, penguins, parrots and so many others both large and small. It was a nice activity to share with my parents, David, Ellen, and the kids.
