What Part of Pittsburgh Are You From?
We went to the Flyers vs. Pens game today and of course there are many Pens jerseys peppered around us. Brian knows me too well. He knows I want to go up to every single one of them and tell them I am from Pittsburgh and ask where they are from. It's funny because he just looks at me and says, "You are dying inside to ask that guy what part of Pittsburgh he is from." And he is right. He saved me the agony this time and asked for me - and I found him having a conversation about all we have done in Pittsburgh.
Anyway, the game was very exciting and we had lots of fun - but in the end the Flyers lost (stupidly), but they lost. Pictured below is from our box seats (center ice) and of course one of the many fights. You can't go to a Flyers vs. Pens game without one happening.

Wine Tasting in Sonoma
I was in California for a business meeting and after lots of hard work, we treated ourselves to a wine tasting tour around Sonoma. It was absolutely beautiful and I had a perpetual smile on my face the entire time. Pictured below are shots from our trip.
7 Years & Going Strong
Valentine's Day is a special day because it was the day of our very first date. I remember being so prim & proper. I don't believe I even ate off of Brian's plate at all that first date (and that is almost impossible because it's in my blood to do it, ask my Italian family). Thinking back to 2002, who would have thought we would be sitting next to each other again, so prim and proper...7 awesome years. And there was lots of eating off each other's plates - our sushi was served on one plate so I had an excuse.
Hanging With Ava & Luke
Last weekend we visited Bob, Mary, Ava & Luke. We have so much fun with them. We spent majority of our time playing with Play-Doh and blocks - which we forgot how much fun they both are. At one point, Brian and I looked at each other and realized we were the only ones still at the table making shapes out of the Play-Doh. And I was secretly trying to build the tallest block structure (although as you can see below Ava had me beat). Enjoy pictures below with captions.Ava & her cute pigtailsAva did this and said it was Val. We believe she was making a paw print - all by herself. Luke enjoying his cookie. Soon after Val snatched it from his tray. Ava & Val - friends forever. Luke chowing down on the block - probably because Val ate his cookie. Ava building the tallest block building. Seconds later it came crashing to the ground.

Yummy In My Tummy
Brian and I went to the Chestnut Hill Hotel for dinner on Saturday. I had a plum bellini and Brian had his signature dirty martini. We were totally happy with our meal - mussels, asian noodle salad, and a salmon club sandwich. We topped the meal off with a banana chocolate bread pudding. A superb night
