We got our tree pretty early after Thanksgiving and had fun decorating it with lots of colored lights. Every Christmas, Brian likes to tell me that his favorite lights are the "big bulb" colored lights, and each year I have to pretend like I never heard that before. We make sure to put at least one strand on the tree to satisfy this special request. We blasted Christmas tunes and decorated the tree - pulling out ornament after ornament out of the box. Each ornament tied to a special memory, our first Christmas, a relative we love, or a vacation spot. So much fun and so many memories. And when you look at the picture - it is not your eyes or the photo. Yes, our tree is leaning a bit and the star is a bit off center. We didn't want to adjust it. It's just a message that you can still see beauty in imperfection.
